Frequently asked questions
How long should my hair be before waxing?
About a quarter inch — roughly 2–3 weeks of growth. Too short and the wax cannot grip; if it is longer, no problem, we will handle it.
How should I prep for a bikini or Brazilian wax?
Gently exfoliate the day before, skip caffeine right before if you are sensitive, and wear loose clothing. Avoid tanning or heavy workouts for 24 hours after.
Can I wax if I use retinol or acne medication?
Facial waxing while using retinoids or isotretinoin can lift skin — tell us what you use and we will advise honestly. Threading is often the safer alternative for facial hair in that case.
